The basis of Peter Filippou work is his effort to communicate with the natural and metaphysical reality. The origins of life, the birth, became the cause of his present cycle of work. The violent moment of birth, the painful exit, as it resembles the battle between light and darkness on the scene of a silent cave, fuels the spark of subjective functions within, connected with primeval fears and instincts.
