The definition of man's location in the immense Universe, and his reationship with the limitless dimensions of a world that moves and changes continually, comprise the nucleus of my curest presentation. A presence that is related to the discovery that our modern civilazaton, having cut his rope with the ancient Greek notion that, 'all things have the value man attaches to them', and functioning against the natural laws, it resembes the patricide Oedipus! Oedipus, blinded by his own hand, after his sacrilegius act, roams in darkness, carrying Antigoni's mourning in his ears, knowing that the only light which never fails is the one of 'living according to the natural laws'.

Petros Filippou, Athens 1986
